Trying to configure wireless card for 1200
« on: January 27, 2011, 12:48:43 AM »
Hoping some kind soul can help me out here.

Got a wireless PCMCIA card from amigakit.com, and am trying to set the easynet software but I am missing something somewhere.

Ran the software, got everything set up as far as I can tell. When I launch easynet it'll go online (or so it says anyways_, but I can't access anything through the web browser (aweb in this case, just for testing).
Attempting to ping the other computer on the network fails as well

Anyone care to help me try to pinpoint the issue?

Never used easynet so my help will be limited. Are you using DHCP or specifying an IP outside of your DHCP range? Might be worth checking your router to see if the MAC address of network card is listed there.

Did you get your network stack up and running?  It appears Easynet comes with AmiTCP.

actually I got it figured out, at least as far as connecting. Was actually a problem with a router setting.

Now to find a download for the  ibrowse demo version, as aweb keeps croaking on me.

I recommend you VNC or RDP to a decent browser on your Linux machine and run it in a window on the Miggy. ;)
