TCP/IP over Parallel Port?
« on: December 21, 2003, 09:06:50 PM »
I've currently got my Amiga 1200 hooked into an old PC running PC2AM through a Laplink cable and it works fine.  It got me wondering though - is there such a thing as using the parallel port as a TCP/IP connection between the Amiga and the Windows box?  I'd love to route the Amiga through the Windows box and off to the net (without having to buy a PCMCIA Amiga nic card :))

I just found:  http://members.nccw.net/fmacall/  which is a
PLIP driver for Windows 98 that's still being supported.  It works over a laplink cable (perfect!).  It's now just a matter of getting the Amiga TCP stack to see it.  How do you redirect the stack to look at a parallel port?
