I know it shouldn't bug me but it does...can we stop referring to these new Vampire add-on FPGA cards as 'Accelerators'.

An Amiga Accelerator in the traditional sense means a faster CPU and some RAM whereas the latest Vampire board is basically an FPGA computer so referring to it as a simple 'Accelerator' is massively understating its capabilities and the development that has gone into the Vampire boards and the Apollo core.

I can see by other forum posts that a lot of Amiga users can't seem to recognize the conceptual difference between an old Blizzard 1230 and a Vampire Mrk2... which is akin to comparing Apples with very moldy oranges.  I think a large part of this confusion is caused by calling them Accelerators.
