I'm hoping this is the right spot to ask but is there a tutorial or guide about setting up a C-NET BBS through an Amiga Emulator (WinUAE)
I have my old BBS data and wanted to set up the old BBS and port it TCP/IP but it has been so long since I have messed with an Amiga I have forgotten most of it.
ANy advice would be wonderful.

You could ask the authors of the software, theres some email addresses on their website so worth a shot..

I would say that using something powerfull like a 4000 setup or preconfigured UAE setup like amikit would be best. Just looking to see if I have any of the software.

Amikit works fine for BBS use. Just install it, then CNet and set up telnet device of your choice and you should be ready to go.

thats what I was thinking.I am also sure I have cnet on a dvd. But I don't know the status of it. So if someone could confirm it's still for sale or not that would be great.

Was supposedly still being developed, now by some new guy.
I've tried for over 2 years to get someone "official" from Cnet to reply to emails, with zero luck.
DLG is now free, as is Excelsior! BBS, btw. Zeus BBS is very low cost, and actually runs quite well on PPC Amiga's. I'm in the middle of converting DLG BB/OS to OS4, the legacy sourcecode and the full BBS executables package is on Aminet.
Only ones I've not been able to pin down valid info on are Cnet and Xenolink. I had hoped to track down status on all the "retail" BBS packages from back in the day, but can't get anything on Xenolink and CNet info is sparse.

I have cnet pro 3.03 and 3.05. But I really need to know the retail status before I do anything else. As I don't want to get myself in trouble :)

Latest version is 5.x something of CNet.
I think the version I ran way back when on my A3000 was 3.05, but I can't find the disks :/

I've setup DayDream BBS on my system, just to have a play around with it.. Remember a friend wanting to setup a BBS under it that never really took off.. Was impressed by it. In those days I was Co-Sysop of a Remote Access board on evil pcceeeeee..
