So I know we don't talk about movies much here, but I gotta talk:
If Wreck-It Ralph is playing within fifty miles of you, GO SEE IT.
It doesn't just have cameos from a buttload of video-game characters; it actually builds some damn good jokes around its "arcade world" conceit. But much more importantly, it's not just a movie with some damn good video-game jokes - it's a really good movie, period. One of the guys over on CHUD said it felt like more of a Pixar movie than Brave, and he was right on.
Ladies and gentlemen, the proverbial "good video-game movie" has finally been made.
