Can anyone show me how compatible is MorphOS with native 68k Amiga applications?
I'm looking for speed comparisons and overall compatiblility using 68k software, like Lightwave, Vista, Cinema4D, Photogenics etc or any other applications. I'm not really interested in games, I can do that on my real Amigas.
I want to see how fast Mac Mini 1.5GHz with MorphOS can render a picture using one of the mentioned programs.
Did anyone made a Youtube video showing 68k compatibility features?

I'm looking forward to see some of them.

I have used Photogenics on MorphOS long time ago so it should at least work. Other software should work too. 68k compatibility is great.

On Mac Mini they render picture faster than any real Amiga.

Do you have access to that Mac Mini? You could try demo version of MorphOS and run your favorite programs before buying.

Cool!

How does the 68k software install work? Do I decompress the archive and double click Install? Do I need 3.1 KS ROM or Workbench disks like AROS?

Don't bother with decompressing. Just double click LhA archive and you can browse and double click Install instantly.

On MorphOS you can browse archives like they were already decompressed.
