I have just bought a new mobile phone (Nokia6230)with polyphonic melodies and stuff. So, I'd like to put some game songs (Lemmings, etc) as ringtone. What program is best for converting mods to midis? (The phone can play .mid with 24 'channels')
Is there a web page that already has Amiga ringtones?

There isn't one. It's not possible.
If you want conversion you need to find one, or create it by yourself.

Not strictly amiga, but has lots of classics:

I'm sure I used to have an MSDOS program years back that would strip the note data out of a MOD/S3M/IT/XM file, and create a MID file with it. It would then strip the sample data out, and upload it into the RAM on my Gravis Ultrasound.
Can't for the life of me remember what it was called though.

It would be useless for anything that doesn't use soundfonts.

Soundfonts? Oooh you young whipper snappers and your fancy terminology. In my day they were called patches. ;-)

You could give modplug tracker a go, It a very good piece of software for converting from one sound format to another and is also a tracker just like Protracker or Octamed.
Load your sound file (mod,s3m etc) via the file menu. Once loaded, Go back to the file menu and selcet "Export as midi".
The quality of the output varies a great deal, So your mileage may vary.

Such programs are generally useless, the samples in mods were rarely tuned (ie middle C), and a fair chunk of Datra was percussive, for which the note data is meaningless unless all you want was timings.
