Backbone Game Creation System | ||

Description: Here is Backbone, the game creation system running on my Amiga 600. By default it runs in High Res, but I bumped it up to Super High Res Interlace for this screenshot (then doubled it to correct the aspect ratio). I wanted to show as many of the different windows as I could, to demonstrate how customisable you can make your games. With Backbone you can create platformers and run & guns like Ruff & Tumble or Superfrog, as well as overhead shooters like Alien Breed or The Chaos Engine. You can download Backbone for free from Aminet here: http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/Backbone_Full http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/Backbone_Upd http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/Backbone_Key Picture Stats: Views: 1044 Filesize: 20.51kB Height: 768 Width: 1024 Posted by: Cammy at July 10, 2011, 02:39:52 AM Image Linking Codes

xboxOwn Posts:97 | March 31, 2015, 07:44:36 AM I have given up on backbone because I can never get it to work. Real or emulation I can never get it to work. I do not know what I am doing wrong on it. |
paul1981 Posts:2157 | October 08, 2012, 08:40:51 PM This takes me way back, to my first Amiga days! Well, the screenmode does at least... I used to run my Workbench in 1280x512 (interlaced) with a 16 colour palette (with the wrong colours, so all my icons were magenta like instead of the correct MWB palette)...and, to top it off, this was on a portable 14" TV through the RF modulator. |
