Just in time for the new Pegasos owners, HERE is a list providing information about what memory works, and what doesn't.

why aint 60ns edo 72pins simm's on this list?

:P

good to see that someone makes a list over memory , but hopefully some of the local shops here where i live actually KNOWS what i mean when i say i want one of thoose that is on WORKING the list.

its like , i want a 80gb hdd , ok here take this is only i have...and basically i didnt want that piece of bonka since it was a maxtor drive.
same goes for memory, they wont sell u anything else than they allready have....

so i guess the safest place to buy it is from an ex pegasos user or an a1 user...or on the internet shops where u can check if its correct before u buy.

cheers
Whats up with all the hate!

A nice list so people can purchase their memory at proper prices instead of paying very high costs just because it works on a Pegasos.

Hopefully there is one out for the A1.

Note that the list has been compiled by Amiga resellers who ordered several barands/models of memory, spend time to test it etc.
It is a nice information for the people who got a bare motherboard but I encourage anyone to buy the memory from your Pegasos dealer. It would save you time and efforts and give credit to the reseller effort to do these tests for you.

Yes but how much premuim are you going to add to the prices because it "works on Pegasos"? if its like Eyetechs 95 pound gold plated magical Amiga memory then forget it, the Amiga users must not continue to be screwed like this

They deserve the respect for checking all types of simms but if they pull another Eyetech stunt then no one should support them.

The amigaone should be ok now you can use normal sd ram and dont have to purchase ecc memory.Pegasos looks very 50/50 with memory buying stuff that works will be a pain unless you buy overpriced ram from main dealers . :-D
I once had an amigaone xe but sold it .

@Paul_Gadd:

The AmigaOne list has been as detailed as this for ages, and can be found via links from several AmigaOne dealers.

However, I don't see how buying memory you're guaranteed to get to work from an Amiga dealer is so bad. I actually saved money buying memory from GGS-Data... Compared to buying directly from the import-company behind Norways biggest web-shop (my company has dealership rights with them, but they were still more expensive than Gunne...)  :-P
