One of the new features introduced in MorphOS 3.6 is the Synergy protocol client. Here is a cool youtube video demonstrating this feature running on MorphOS:

It's really useful for developing and cross-compiling in a modern IDE with a fast processor and then just moving the mouse across to the MorphOS machine to run the compiled code from a network share with the new SMBFS handler.
MorphOS gets more complete with every iteration. It truly is what the 68k Amiga OS should have become.

Trying this on Debian...and when connecting from MorphOS 3.6...
2014-07-06T21:15:54 WARNING: client "MorphOS" has incompatible version 1.4)
/tmp/buildd/synergy-1.3.8/src/lib/server/CClientProxyUnknown.cpp,248
EDIT:
I think I need to install a newer version on my Linux box.
EDIT #2:
Ok, upgrading Synergy on Debian to 1.4 gets it working but the key mapping is not working correctly at all... none of the keys are correct when I type.

Nice video demonstration! I would like to try that out between several of my systems, but have never known about synergy before now. I'll have to find out more about how it is set up and works, but being able to use just one mouse and keyboard for many systems would be so much more convenient.
I could fit several monitors on my large desk, but having to switch between multiple keyboards and mice would probably not fit and even if it could, would not be as convenient as that synergy demo showed. Thanks for providing that demo. Maybe someone can duplicate it in English for those of us who don't understand French?

For a laugh, you could try enabling subtitles. Youtube uses speech recognition + auto translation to generate those.
BTW, a Synergy client is also available for AmigaOS 4.x too (on os4depot), so that's another machine that you could use with this. I tried it years ago, and it works fine. However, with only one monitor things got confusing pretty quickly. You really need multiple monitors like in the demo video.

Synergy client...
Very nice, did not realize that we had such. Even better that it now is also for Morph.
Is there one for AOS3 as well?
I might have insane multimonitor fun soonish! ;-)
You tube: did not understand a word, but very good&fun presentation !

Is there any documentation for the MorphOS version? I need a little assistance with getting it to autostart (should I just throw it in wbstartup?) and also wondering if Tooltype settings are possible. Nothing seems to be saved every time I launch it again.
