If they file for bankruptcy then they will have to sell off their assets, which appear to be AmigaOS, permanently licensed to Hyperion, the Amiga name in computers, worth absolutely nothing, a few dumb Windows Mobile apps that were apparently just sold by them and not actually their product and the domain name, worth a fair amount as either a dating site, social networking site or (my favourite) a Spanish Lesbian site.
The Domain name however is just weeks, maybe days away from being taken by Godaddy and auctioned off, which means that soon that if you you took the value of the company and added two bucks you might be able to buy a cup of coffee...
What I want to know is what happens to the Amiga name if the company is busted. Can lawyers force them to sell it if the owners own debts?
