If Amiga Inc. falls in a forest, and nobody is there to hear it, does anybody really give a damn? :D

What I want to know is what happens to the Amiga name if the company is busted. Can lawyers force them to sell it if the owners own debts?

If they file for bankruptcy then they will have to sell off their assets, which appear to be AmigaOS, permanently licensed to Hyperion, the Amiga name in computers, worth absolutely nothing, a few dumb Windows Mobile apps that were apparently just sold by them and not actually their product and the domain name, worth a fair amount as either a dating site, social networking site or (my favourite) a Spanish Lesbian site.

The Domain name however is just weeks, maybe days away from being taken by Godaddy and auctioned off, which means that soon that if you you took the value of the company and added two bucks you might be able to buy a cup of coffee...

I just did a "whois" check.  WhoIs indicates I could buy amiga.com for $9.95.

I really do think they're dead...who has $10???

They got hacked by someone using TELNET FORCE.

They were chatting in IRC from their web server and someone said, "If you press ALT F4 your computer will run faster!!"

I just tried to. "a further check says blah blah blah registered".

I actually was going to use it. No, I won't tell you what it'd redirect to.

I'm going to participate in the auction, won't say what I'm willing to bid but I have a good idea what I could sell it for...
