hmmm, will an A1200 keyboard fit in an A500 case? I just have A500's here... would definitly be neat too! Anyway, will there be enough spare A1200 keyboards available for all the people who got inspiration? :-?

@adonay

Naah, I didn't leave AO. I just haven't been around much for a while. I've been playing with my C= 8bit goodies in my spare time.

I'm glad I'm still breathing too ;-)

Just check out the Amiga on eBay forum. There have been a few postings lately that may be of use.

I wonder if the USB keyboard would work in a USB->PS2 adapter on a real Amiga?

Hmmm, A1200 keyboard -> USB -> PS2 -> Keyboard interface -> A1200 :crazy:

Would the keys map properly if I did this?

I hope things like the Help, DEL and Amiga keys would work properly after being mapped from Amiga -> PC -> Amiga.

This will be even more fun when WUSB takes off.  :-)

I don't entirely get the bit about the USB joystick latency, though; I've used generic USB (digital) gamepads on PCs without noticing any trouble -- does the one model in question have a glitch, or does sharing the keyboard HID pipe(?) bypass a 'flaw' in the standard in general?
