LOL, I guarantee any lost sales because of lack of scarcity would be more than made up by increased sales due to better affordability.

The video game console market is an example of scarcity increasing sales.  When a new console is released if it is in short supply it may increase demand somewhat because of the psychological aspect.  Nintendo does this often.  However, if Nintendo's console was twice the price of the Xbox/PS then scarcity would not make up for lost sales that the increased price would bring.

That's a cool story, but I guarantee you if a Lamborghini sold for $20K they would have sold a hell of a lot more than 1095 in 2017.
