How much of the Amiga 2000's ZII autoconfig space would this card use?

The DENEB autoconfigures by a chained config request, with one 64kB card (FlashROM) and one 128kB card (USB). Both cards are I/O, but can also life in the normal memory space.

If you are unsure just do a "showconfig > ram:bla.txt" and send me the ASCII output file per PM to mboehmere3b.de

i'm interested about the ethernet adapter too.

I will buy one for this reason.

And which model/brand USB eth adapter do you suggest?

Thanks for this interesting product :-)

Edit- btw ... just read these system requirements:

"compatible with AmigaOS 3.1, 3.5, 3.9 and 4.0 (PIO mode)"

Isn't MOS for PowerUP supported?

fine then ... just found the answer:

"DENEB is available from now on directly at E3B and selected Amiga dealers.

Why is this relevant for MorphOS? Because the card also works under MorphOS PUP and can be used to boot MorphOS PUP directly from FlashRom."

but ... why this "bit" is skipped in the resellers sites Deneb description?

You would have to ask that particular reseller  ;-)

What sort of speed would I get on the fast zorro II slot on my Z4 busboard on a 040/25 175/603e A1200

Would it be the same as normal Zorro II or twice as fast ?

@Platon42 :

can I use a usb joypad with amiga games which are not "WB" friendly ?

No. If multitasking is disabled, there's no USB stack running, thus no joypad support there.

I'd be interested to know the kind of performance you can get from the ethernet adaptors (with amitcp and miami). Miami is a fair amount slower i know (Shame roadshow was never available to buy for os3.x/m68k).

My last speed tests with MiamiDx with between Deneb with ASIX Ethernet 100MBit, A4000T/60@50MHz and MiamiDx, Pegasos 2 using tcpspeed (non-native) were about 800KB/sec in both directions.

Not quite. 128 KB in total, both USB and flash rom boards are 64 KB. We optimized the I/O space for Zorro II, so that the 64 KB are enough ;-)

http://www.e3b.de/usb/ -> (British Flag) -> "USB" -> "Benchmarks"

The rows with "FZ2" are Fast Zorro II mode, with Blizzard 1230IV and 1260.

Hope this helps.
