1 Gb hologRAM available...
« on: February 17, 2004, 02:24:54 AM »
It seems as if a company called NTT  has developed a stamp-size 1GB hologram memory ...
The new memory is named Info-MICA (Information-Multi-layered Imprinted CArd) because it has a layered structure similar to that of a mica stone, according to NTT.

It`s this kind of innovations that we want to see in the next generation Amiga's,
Something that will make people stop and take notice.

I'll sure have to stick one of those in my Pegasos!

BTW, I'm also considering getting an LCD monitor too! (it'll be my first ;)

;-) I notice that it's transparent.  Actually, it resembles a Star Trek style "isolinear chip," as if it were a precursor to such.

It just goes to support the claim that when trying to predict future technologies, Science Fiction authors usually err by being too timid.
