Russia says they've developed a missile that will defeat any defense system.

This will probably promt the pentagon to ask for more money to beef up the $50 billion missile defense system.

Yea, i think they don`t like the american defences system that is going to be developed...
One side escalates the ballance...(?)
But then again it may just be politics to persuade the americans to keep the status quo...After all ,can they afford it?

I'd like to announce my new initiative. Called the Humanity Survival Defence Plan, it involves draining Loch Ness, gathering all militarists, throwing them into to the empty loch, then filling it in with many tons of concrete. The objective is that militarist ideas will be sealed for upwards of 50,000 years, protecting us from the harmful crackpot idea radiation that causes complications such as war, wasting money on arms races, and Mutual Assured Destruction plans.

Looks like Putin is gonna try and get the US to do a Soviet Union on itself. It's always cheaper to build a missile that will evade a missile defense system than it is to build the defense system.
US coffers are already dangerously depleted and stampeding Dumbya to spend more on a sheild could put the US over the edge. Putin would really like to have Iraq back and he's probably some P.O.ed at Bush.

Here is what Russia thinks of their own system (http://english.pravda.ru/main/18/88/350/12114_exercise.html).
But maybe Canada can help them out by selling them some of that great Canadian missile technology.
And then we can always refill our coffers by swaping US dollars for Canadian dollars. What's a Canadian dollar worth now? About 74 cents US.

;-) You do realize that any force sufficient to compell "all militarists" would qualify as militarists themselves? Logistically difficult, that.
:roll: Also qualifying as militarist is the mind that toys with rounding up whole segments of humanity. Would you be the first in line to jump in the lake?

"It's always cheaper to build a missile that will evade a missile defense system" = It's gotta work first; they keep falling in the ocean, that is, the ones that actually make it into the air. So they need to replace their technology with some of your advanced Canadian missile technology. Non sequitur? I think not.

Use of force does not imply militarism. Militarism, however, always implies use of force.

The American government is so paranoid that it'llmake a defence system for any supposed 'threat'. All that needs to happen now is for N.Korea to say they have a laser reflector on a sattelite, which always points at the U.S. , and they can zap any American location at anytime.
Bush will believe it, and spend lots of money building some kind of reflector shield over America XD
