Micronik bussboard
« on: March 21, 2004, 09:59:37 PM »
Hello!

Help, please!

I have Micronic busboard with PCI/ISA/Zorro slots, SCSII controler and
A3000/4000 CPU slot, but unfortunately I can't make it work.
When I connect bridge (which came with the bussboard) on my A1200
expansion slot and BlizzardPPC into it, everithing works well, but when
I also connect bussboard and turn on Amiga, screen stays black, and
nothing happens. Could anyone tell me what could be the problem?
I should mention that I connected extra power to bussboard and I set
jumpers as described on schematics found on internet. Bussboard has also
been tested on several different revisions of A1200's.

My configuration is as follows:
A1200T/BlizzardPPC 603/233-040/33, 64 MB, BVision, SubwayUSB, SCSI,
4-IDE, HDD 30GB, HDD 2.3GB, CDRW, CD-ROM, OpticalMouse, WebCam, Scanner,
Printer, modem, 17" Monitor.......OS3.9+BoingBag2!!!!

Hi,

I don't have such a busboard my self, but if it has SCSI controller on, this could be the reason why your screen is black, as an Amiga 1200 without scsi boots a lot faster than an Amiga 1200 with scsi. How long have you waited before you turned the computer off again? Could also be a problem witht the termination of the scsi chain.

And the jumpers you have set, what are they concerning?

I'm on a wild guess here, but it's better than nothing :-)

I think you should set at least the type of accelerator (if any) with the jumpers...
