I'd like to be able to use the Zotero in-browser referencing add-on, which is more likely to work under Timberwolf than Odyssey (it doesn't work on either at present). At the moment, I use both - Odyssey seems to render some sites more accurately but Timberwolf's add-on capability is better.
As the previous posters have said, it depends what you want to do.

I watched the Amiwest streams, listening intently for any discussion on Timberwolf. I didn't hear any mention of it.

Was it discussed? Was any update or news provided?

There was nothing new mentioned about Timberwolf at AmiWest 2014. I don't think the topic even came up... I could be wrong.

My hope is to have an updated Timberwolf to go along with the release of the X5000. We are struggling a bit with the X5000 and AmigaOS at the moment but this is normal for any new system bring up.

In my opinion only, Timberwolf is functional enough that it can wait while the other things coming to fruition for the Amiga get worked out.  Personally, I like (and feel comfortable) with the interface and hope that it gets a tune up along the long and winding road in Amiga development.
