In order to prevent the death of Aminet, all the audio in the game is supplied in a heavily compressed format.  This greatly reduces the archive filesize.
What would be the size of an archive with uncompressed audio tracks?

Oh, and whats the shareware fee, btw.? Readme doesn't even mention it's shareware.

It isn't shareware. It is donation ware.

Ah, sorry - I've been misinformed then.

To be clear, it isn't just the music that is specially compressed, but also all soundfx and speech.  Without that compression the archive size grows by +35MB

Well, that wouldn't be a problem for Aminet. Perhaps you should ask your users what they prefer?

I know what I would choose given the choice between a bigger download and waiting 10 minutes when running the game for the first time... Even with all the compression, TC is so big that only broadband users will download it anyway.
