I got the same e-mail from Petro but i dont care about the magic pack software its crap anyway. The important thing is the Amiga is working and unused. He replied he will send it out on monday. Cant wait to receive it.:crazy:

Of course for a bunch of disks that are crap anyway i would not cancel my order!

Since most people think the software packs are useless. If anyone on here got one of the first batches and wouldn't mind parting with the software box and manuals I would really like to purchase them.

I've got one of the 2nd batch A1200's, but I really wanted a complete as new Magic Pack, so I am somewhat disappointed I won't be getting a complete unit.

Mine just arrived from petro .... Doesn't work.

Well the lights turn on ... but no drive sound.

Pressed ctrl+a+a, and resets, the caps  lock key goes on, and I get a green/black screen.

Oh and no bootrom either in the tv ....

Did you leave it on for 30 seconds - 1 minute? They don't like to boot up quickly if there's no hard drive installed, depending on the ROM version.

Try re-seating the roms. Use a large flatblade screwdriver and just prise them up slightly each side, and then push them down again firmly. Just might work...

It could be the PSU plug at the Amiga end. Try wiggling the power connector a bit at the back of the Amiga whilst switched on. I have a PSU that only works when I gently push up or push down on the connector (can't remember which). My other PSU's don't have this problem though. In my case, I'm not sure whether it's a broken wire near the plug, or a malformed plug (looks to be okay though). It's worth checking anyway.

csxlab, measure the voltages on your PSU's pins. That way you can establish whether it works or not. I don't suppose you have another one near by ?
As far as the motherboard is concerned, inspect eevveerryytthhiinngg in detail. For any signs of burns, leaks or other deformities.

Hi, good morning, actually I dind't say anything about wiggling, just not giving enough power. Well I don't have any way to measure the output, and I don't have any other Power source to try, So today I will disassemble a take some photos of the MB

Btw, the PSU last night was not working at all, and I'm living in Maastricht but I'm Portuguese, came to live here 3 months ago, so I actually don't know anyone in this city, or specialized stores yet.
