I just became aware of "Dread" being worked on by YT user KK/Altair. I discovered it in this video, which is mainly showing his non-Amiga-based (I presume) level editor, but it shows the engine running the levels he's making in the video.

All things point to this being an unaccelerated Amiga 500. I can't imagine how such a machine can run something like this at such a frame rate. Has anyone seen this demo run on an Amiga in person / is it out there?
(I've been running accelerated and unaccelerated Amigas for most of the 35 years they've been with us, and so this demo is kind of jawdropping.)

A stock/base A500 does not have 1Mb RAM.

Wow! Amazing job getting a game like this running so fast on an Amiga 500! 8) I remember longing for first person shooters like thi sback in the 90's, but most of them required turbo-cards to run properly. This one would have a been a huge hit I think.
