Aargh! ADF2DISK woes...
« on: December 07, 2002, 11:45:57 AM »
I'm going nuts! I can not get this to work.
I have 2 A1200's and have copied adf2disk to my amigas harddrives. Then I transfered an .adf file from my PC to the Amiga and then open a shell and execute "adf2disk myadf.adf" and the diskdrive starts to churn and work, and after a while it says "finished". But noooo, the disk is STILL empty and now I got troubles identifying my PC disks in the Amigas... must have changed some CrossDOS thingomabob or something in my vain attempts to get this #&%/ยค# program to work.

So anyone, HEEELP! How do I format disks on my PC that can be read on the Amiga AND that can contain more than 720kb, since an ADF is 880kb. And how do I get adf2disk to work? Is there a syntax that I have forgot to add such as PC0 or DF0 ?

oh yes, I could get a cable to link up the PC's (and hopefully the Amigas) but I don't remember what type of cable I was supposed to get.  (any swedish people may recommend which one I should get. :)
