Help please with my startup

Hi people im having a problem with uae (the newest release)
For some reason it wont boot the startup-sequence. It gets to setpatch and tells me it doesnt exist.
I changed the line to read C:Setpatch and it still doesnt exist
I changed it to C/Setpatch and it exists but then the next command fails to work because c:#? doesnt exist
I could change all the commands to read C/ but i have a feeling it will do the same with the libs: and devs: lines
Any reason why this is happening?? I have tried different roms but it does the same

Make sure the thing boots from the right partition. I bet it tries to boot from a wrong one (and thus C is missing).

Already checked that.
its definatly booting the correct partition. I can get into the c directory by typing "c" in shell and its also booting the s:startu-sequence

To be more sure I disaled all the other drives in the early startup

could it be that you created it with windows editor like Notepad so CR/LF is the problem? just a thought..

no it was created in ed on the amiga. Its exactly the same partitian I use for workench on my a1200 which works fine

*PROBLEM SOLVED*

it was to do with when I added pc drives at startup. The name of my pc harddrive was C so it was looking at that
