Hi!  You've got a lot going on here and it might be easier to break this down into separate questions.  For starters I would make sure you have a fresh install of the OS and all the updates.  Also what RTG software are you using?  If Picasso96, I think the latest version is available here:

Also what monitor are you using?

Sounds like you've got a nice system, your screen name made me LOL.  :D

Are you using the correct 68040.library for your Blizzard card? Does your fresh OS3.9 install include BB 3 & 4?

2. You need to know the specs of your monitor and set it up with the cgfx prefs program, the presets supplied with it is for old CRT monitors so you might need to do the settings all by yourself. And do yourself a favor and install cgfx4.x instead of 3.x, it's been around 15  years since i used cgfx3 with a bvision so i might be wrong but 4.x was way faster than 3.x on bvision.

3. Install bppcfix to get rid of that nag requester. There are atleast two options for this, i prefer to use the bppcfix module from Blizkick http://aminet.net/package/util/boot/BlizKick
It might seem like a lot of work to install it but it's really worth it if you do it right, just read the manual carefully about how to make it softkick the OS3.9 kickstart and you'll be fine. There's lot's of usefull modules supplied with blizkick that you can use, there's also one module that might help you with the ramlib crashes (ramlibstack?)

If you prefer to have you'r amiga do several reboots upon cold start you can skip blizkick and install bppcfix as a standalone package.

NO! There is no need anymore for bppcfix since the last Warpup version! you can set Terminator 2 and mark "early term" that will do the job!

 wondering about picasso96 works with a BvisionPPC

Picasso 96 3.0 works with BVision, but this version was never released to public.... it was used to develop OS 4.x

*update* I have started again from scratch. Hard drive is sorted. Have not installed warpos or 3d as of yet so no nag requester cgx modes have disappeared but the prefs are in devs/monitors, I presume this is down to boing bags altering the startup sequence. Also I  have bought a new rgb/scart from amigakit and just get a white screen when using games. I have another one that works fine with crt but get black and green screen on the lcd tv. Would just like to get a decent resolution and be able to use 1 lcd tv for cgx and ocs, ecs and aga screen modes
