Former Commodore UK managing director David Pleasance will be joining us for a special live event at the Retro Computer Museum in Leicester on Saturday November 25th 2017!

Ahead of the release of his new book, David will share some never before revealed true stories of how Commodore was mismanaged from Hero to Zero. He’ll also share memories of systems like the Amiga 500, the Batman Pack, C64 and launching the CD32 in the UK.

Doors open at 10:30am. You’ll also get to enjoy the museum and all their classic computer and console collection, we’ll be recording live for the podcast and Youtube and we’ll game and party into the night with a licenced bar open until 10:30pm.

Tickets are pre-book only and not available on the door, to get a ticket you just have to make a £10 minimum donation (per person) to the museum by clicking below. After donating your name will be added to a list they will have on the day.

It's 2 and a half hours drive away from me, I wish it were in the south east of the UK.

Suck it up and drive you ponce (as well meaning as is possible ;-))! Is the South-East bubble such an impenetrable barrier to traveling to the rest of the UK? No empathy to be honest. The Americans ARE laughing at you.

Haha!

We're lucky to have one Amiga event a year in the US, and even that is 3,000 miles away. :(

Have you ever been to Leicester?

It's north of watford gap services, I'd have to go to the doctor to get inoculations, pick up a phrase book etc.
