Topaz Font for general (TTF)
« on: January 09, 2010, 07:27:05 PM »
Today a friend of mine sent me something that blew me away.
While reading  http://www.asciiarena.com/ he discovered the one and only true Topaz font ready for download for different OSs with all the bells and whistles.

Having tried to make a Topaz TTF-Font myself, I am extremely pleased. This one is ready for primetime use.

I use it (or one similar, cannot recall right now where I found it) as the font for my SSH terminals :D

But is it double-height?

I knocked this bitmap font up in typesmith on my old A1200 and installed it on OS4:

int p; // A

Yes, it mimics the aspect ratio of a "Med-Res" display but I dont know if PAL (640x256) or NTSC (640x200). But as it is not a pixel font, you might experience some scaling/antialiasing artifacts.

Most of the links on the thread are broken now. Does anyone have a copy of this font? I'd love to use it myself.

Thanks mechy! Still working out how to install these on Ubuntu but they look promising.
