Collectors... worse than rapists if you ask me ;-)

You can buy NTSC boxed new CD32 consoles on ebay from China for about €100 buy-it-now

€70-80 from their base in Germany

@Alexh

Are these trustable? I've seen them a lot of times and I've been tempted to buy one but I don't know for sure if they're really what they claim to be. The pictures on every auction seem to be the same...

Cheers

@Gav
Gracias!!. Great, good to know! I'll keep an eye on those!

Are they really in "new" and COMPLETE condition? I mean, with manual, guarantee sheets, etc??

Cheers,

D.

Yes. The only thing is the condition of the boxes can vary. I have heard they are perfect for some people and a bit beat-up for others.

Still better condition than most second hand boxes.

Can we use that NTSC machines has PAL machines chaging monitor drivers in workbenh? Or in the boot menu chaging the video mode (PAL / NTSC)?

Thanks!

Don't want to be a party pooper, but I bought a CD32 from the same source and although the auction said it was boxed, it came in a regular brown box and not the one pictured in the auction!! Beware!

The story is that they made them for commodore, which went bankrupt without paying for them. The factory held onto the units and they were found in the back of a warehouse recently and are now being flogged off.
