Question:how does one speed up the loading process on Shapeshifter.Everything works fine..just need to speed it up..taking an awful long time.

Hi and welcome to the forums.
A bit more info will be useful. What is your Amiga config for a start (let's avoid 'buy a faster Amiga' type comments).
Also, is it starting ShapeShifter or booting into MacOS that you feel is taking a long time?
Finally, what is 'a long time' to you and what are you comparing against?

A1200 in DIY Tower. 3.2 ROMs (softkicking 3.2.2), OS 3.2.2 with ClassicWB, CF card, CD RW and IDE to SD adapter running off the internal IDE port (using the A4000 4-port IDE adapter from Amigakit), Pistorm 32 lite with Pi4/2GB/Emu68 or Blizzard 1230-IV, with 32MB 60ns RAM and 50MHz 68882 FPU. 3COM PCMCIA Network card running with Miami DX.

Shapeshifter hardfiles are horrendously slow. If you have to use them, put them on a fast partition (I.e., SFS or PFS) with lots of buffers. If you can use a dedicated partition for your Mac hard drive, that will be much faster.
