Linux 3.17 Kernel Released With Many Great Features

Linus Torvalds has happily released the Linux 3.17 kernel. Linux 3.17 is out in all of its glory and due to Torvalds' travel schedule the Linux 3.18 merge window will be open for about three weeks. I have just built the kernel 3.17 for our AmigaONE X1000.

Hi All,

I have released a bug fix version of kernel 3.17.

New:

- Support for mobile networks with USB UMTS 3G sticks



Other changes:

UMTSmon works very well with the new kernel 3.17.2.

Mobile connection with UMTSmon on openSUSE 11.1-2 with Kernel 3.17.2:
