We are pleased to announce that we have acquired the entirety of Eyetech Ltd's remaining Classic Amiga stock.
Please bear with us whilst we integrate the stock with our existing product database. In the meantime, if you have a specific request for an item you cannot see on www.amigakit.com, please get in contact (http://contact.amigakit.com).
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Alan Redhouse and Eyetech for the contribution to the Classic Amiga market over many years.

Glad to see it didn't end up as landfill! Good luck AmigaKit, hope it all sells well!

good work Matthew.
-
mmm...sounds like I'll have something to spend my salary on.
Great job, Mathew :-)
-
Congrats! Going to a worthy company :-)
-
I just saw a movie called The Final Cut where there was a company called EYE Tech that put implants into people's brains to record what they see and hear.
-
Darn you guys!! I know I already told you that I cannot buy anything for a while, and here you go getting cool stuff to sell. ARGH!
Well, the birthday is coming up, and maybe the girlfriend is feeling giving... :-)
-
Good luck on this venture.

I wonder what other stuff amigakit got... the UMON (aga/rtg switch) I got was great!
-
naa, its that leftover stock of A1's that Amigakit were interested in I bet :-)
/me wonders how much a prototype A1 would sell for on ebay
-
I am glad that some one is going to take it on.
-
Great to hear it. I can't wait to see what you're going to have for sell.
-
Anyone know if this was a part of an entire business liquidation of assets or just Eyetch dumping related Amiga items?
Dammy
-
Well, it's my birthday in less than 2 weeks, so lets hope I get some money to spend :-D

All the AmigaOnes *WERE* prototypes!

Hmmm, I am not sure if this is good news or bad news.....certainly good news for AmigaKit and us cutomers.......as Eyetech seemed kind of distant.
But I didnt know that they were TRULY out of business for good.............that really sucks!
That part is bad news for Amiga.
I think Amiga Inc should have at least purchased their chip manufacturing plant so that Amiga can start making their own computers again.
-
Anyone know the proper name for Eyetech. I've checked Companies House in the UK and Eyetech Group Ltd, look as if they are still in business.
A few other Eyetechs have been "dissolved" but I dunno if they are the right Eyetech or not.

Err... sure!
-
I just noticed that www.eyetech.co.uk forwards to www.amigakit.com

@Leirbag28

No need to worry about that. Afaik Eyetech have produced hardware of any intrest for Amiga users only for classics. They never did have any big manufacturing plants for A1, they bought slightly modified and rebadged motherboard from outside producer.
-
And most (all?) of that hardware is just re-badged hardware from other manufacturers.
-
So eyetech is now officially just history then...
