@ Pyromania,

Okay, normally, I'm the one who pops in with a smart ass comment on a forum, more in jest. However, this time, I am of legitimate questioning. I've never used Aladdin and since my migration to the PC world in 1999, I've moved to now using Maya. Maya provides me with just about all the tools I need for my 3D animation and modeling.

My question is this, what does Aladdin offer me, that Maya doesn't? Does it support NURBS and Sub Ds? What's the hair and cloth plugins like? How tempermental is it with fluids and particle effects. Does it require OS4? How effective is the skeletal system for rigging? In short, what does it have, other than a significant price drop, I'm sure, for me to migrate back to the Amiga platform?

I have no way of playing with it to test its limitations, hence all the questions. I ask, 'cos believe it or not, I'm rather impressed with that render.

\'And for future reference, it might be polite to ask someone if you can  quote them in your signature, rather than just citing them to make a  sales pitch.\' - Karlos. :rtf
