Update 1 of AmigaOS 4.1 available for immediate download

I thought it was going to include USB2.0 drivers :-(

USB2.0 is in development, and will be released "when its done(TM)". There would be no point in releasing it before it is working properly.

How can USB 2.0 not be a priority?

Who says it isn't? Its just not ready yet.

So for me, what Hyperion says about AmigaOS 4.1 coming out of the beta, it is just exageration or simple marketing BS.

AmigaOS4.1 was already out of beta for AmigaOne and Pegasos II. It was still beta for the SAM because support for the SAM hardware wasn't quite ready yet and was released with a beta label attached. Now the SAM version is no longer considered beta.

AmigaOS 4.1 and its update for Classic PPC Amigas is available in two more  weeks...

I guess thats some kind of joke, but i fail to understand the humour. AmigaOS4.1 has never been promised for classics, let alone a timeframe given, although Hyperion haven't ruled it out.

They could just port Poseidon and be done with it.

Or maybe, rather than just throw out all the hard work they've been doing, they could just finish the USB2.0 support in their own USB stack?
