SSL and UAE
« on: July 17, 2005, 09:59:19 AM »
:-? I'd like to ask how to add the SSL support to IBrowse or AWeb under WinUAE... I've already installed AmiSSL but I cannot access SSL secured pages anyway. For example, I get a report that "IBrowse was unable to open appropriate SSL module..."
I am not much in these things, could someone help me please? Thanks!

Open IBrowse, click on Preferences, Settings, Security.
Make sure SSLv2 and SSLv3 are ticked.
Untick option for 'Use Miami SSL'.
Click OK and Save settings.

It should work ok immediately.

AWeb needs AmiSSL1.x (just type AmiSSL in Google to find the website).

AmiSSL 2.x and 1.x can both be installed to the same location without conflicts, so don't worry.
