Hey guys,
I have a one-button Apple mouse that I really like that I got for Christmas for my eMac last year. I want to use it in MorphOS... can MorphOS be configured to work with some keyboard shortcut for right click like Ctrl on Mac OS X? I really wanted to use it, if not I'll use a regular USB PC mouse.

Yes, one button mice are supported. I believe the details are in the MorphOS readme on the install CD.

You like that?
Man, I don't even use those under OSX.
I'm not giving up right click functionality or my scroll wheel.

The oldschool ADB ball mice I could see, but Apple's USB mice have been pretty universally crap ever since the iMac hockey-puck...

This is the first time I have ever heard some one say they actually like the Mac one button wonder......

With the magic trackpad who needs a mouse?

With the magic trackpad who needs a mouse?
People who want to be productive with their system? Even with all the laptop builds I do I always include a mouse, people just don't like the trackpad unless it's for something quick. Generally a wireless or Bluetooth mouse works great with a laptop. I assume "magic" trackpad is a joke.

Well, I like the concept of a one button mouse. Forces GUI designers to make sensible GUI designs without all kinds of hidden features.

Normal people... mac hipsters doenst count like computer users.

deleted double post thanks to the unsolved (for months) login bugs of a.org

Or would force, if there wouldn't be any other alternatives. Reality is that stuff gets more hidden and laborious with one button mouse when you have to press keyboard keys to access all features.

Hahah :D I see your joke :)

Yes, yes... I like the one button Apple mice. Why? - I don't know it's just my personal preference. I have two that I alternate around, the clear Apple Pro mouse, and yes... I have the graphite colored puck mouse... go figure. Hey though, we're all different... I'm into Apple, Commodore/Amiga and UNIX/Linux. :-)
And thanks for the tip though, I got MorphOS working fine with them.

That's great for him, but I do not have CTS and no use at all for the trackpad, im happy with my mouse as it is and see no reason at all to have anything else.
I thought you where making a joke when you said there is no need for anything else then that trackpad, but surely you must understand that a lot of people could not replace a normal mouse with a trackpad?
If you personally do not need anything else for the stuff you do then great for you.

If Apple actually made that thing, people would buy it.

The magic trackpad works, unlike PC ones that don't. You can do the same trackpad gestures on top of the mouse but it's not as convenient. Try it, you'll see what I mean.
