Netaji, The Last Hero

I saw this Indian movie about Indian war hero who collaborate with NAZI for Indian struggle of Indepence from British during World War II.

After the war, he went to Tokyo, but he was killed when his plane crashed in Taiwan (August 18, 1945).

On recent investigation by Indian government, there is no proof / record about the plane crash in Taiwan. What happen to this forgotten hero?

I wouldn't call a Nazi collaborator a hero.

He received guns and ammo from German, but he condemn NAZI anti jewish policy. IMO he was pragmatic, not a NAZI follower.

Several Asian Freedom Fighters were Axis collaborators during WW II, such as Aung San (Burma), Soekarno (Indonesia) etc.

For indian people I suspect he's a great hero.. It's all in the eye of the beholder..
