I managed to find
Stefan Ruppert
by googling. He gave some talks about making and using datatypes at the Gateway Amiga show in 1998. I still have the handouts somewhere in my stash. It seems he's been out of the Amiga scene a few years though. If he doesn't object, I can probably dig around until I find those handouts and scan them.
