I've got the same card as you, Polbit, and I'm very happy with using Magic Workbench. Have been my main choice for icons for years. Think they still look great. Best of all, you can run your Workbench in 8 colors, which is very fast, but still have nice icons.
There are many MWB compatible icon packs on Aminet to download, as well as backdrops.
