I remember using a program that allowed control of the Amiga keyboard & mouse across a network from a windows machine, basically vnc without the display stuff...
CAN anyone remember the name of this program I know it's on Aminet somewhere but under a wierd name with a naff short description I presume (well if it was any good I'd be able to find it)

Is this it?

EDIT: No nevermind, it's probably not.

Thanx for tryin but no, ARemote is miggy only it seems... I need to be able to control it from the Windows machines.
-
Didn't Siamese systems make something like that?
-
Damn, I forgot what I was gonna say now....

New idea: Telnet
I seem to recall there being a way to Telnet into an Amiga and control the system via Shell.
It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it could have a similar result.

For everyones benefit it has been found and the program in question is called Twiny, and it can be found on aminet in comm/misc/ :-)

Fun little program. Just make sure you don't disconnect your TCP stack while using it! :-)

Why not use VNC then? Or don't you want the display and stuff? With AmiVNC (http://www.aminet.net/comm/tcp/AmiVNC.lha) you get the whole screen etc. It is a bit slow even on 060 but it works :-)

Siamese does, indeed do that.

Well, they can behave somewhat strangely at times! MSCE Training does seem to help, though! :-)

Gettin' nakid can cause upsets, so pRon-kitty is RIGHT out . .. . Keep that Siamese at the keyboard & mouse! :-)
