read the article. You are now world renown. A star is born, a celebrity, nice interview
Well, of course!
as Pat Cooper would say, "I am the genius of myself"

I hope to convince whoever is still left of the amiga community that bickering over issues does no one any good and that we should just keep plugging away at projects like AROS because THAT sort of activity - more than anything a CEO of any company may do - is what will keep the Amiga alive!

Let the party begin!

C++ support is there, why not check it out. Someone of your obvious skills (not to mention sense of humour) would be very welcome on the AROS Dev team.

Hehe, flattery will get you nowhere ;-)

Cool. I just had an old memory of C++ compiler not being ready, but thats obviously some time ago.

As it goes, I'm still shovelling various old amiga C++ source through gcc and cleaning them up. Due to limitations of the old C++ compiler I was using (specifically the lack of threadsafe exception processing), I aim to redesign a good deal of it afterwards.

At some point, I will probably get a copy of aros for this ere x86 doofer and will see about some development. No doubt the first stuff I will do is to create the AROS x86 native backend for my framework - I can't stand system specific application coding ;-)

Oh, I just had to say... That when I first saw the topic name, I had a though along the lines of "What? Canada has an Army!".

That's a lie and you know it (Though I don't need to explain that to a person of your calibre)! Flattery makes the world go round...

I didn't get where I am today without a bit of flattery here and there!

I think you will love AROS, probably for one reason... It's AmigaOS on a multiGhz CPU!!! If that doesn't get you excited then nothing will!

Ok we seem to have no less then 8 users in inactive! ive regged many test users on all kinds of browsers and they work each time (we have also gotten some new users since) are you SURE you completed the registration? after regging did you press the "finish" button?.

@4pLaY

All I know is when I go to the site and log in it says "deactivated or not yet activated".  If I enter a wrong password it gives me a lost password or something like that.  It knows i'm in the system.

I use Safari and Mozilla depending which machine is on line.  My Mac or my ITX project system (AROS) with linux ATM.  Have been to sight on both.  Neither seem to have any problems.

If it doesn't give you an account you can't go in and correct anything if there was a problem on this end.

"Finish Button", yes as I remember, but how would your info get into the system if you didn't hit the finish button.

E-mail - I used the same account I use with all my personal stuff including ebay.

So how do we fix this situation?   :-?
