I think CU forgot to include the serial number with the mag or disc at the time.
If you need it, I still have the original email from HiSoft when I asked them for the numbers required for the "free" version of C4D.

Just looked it up, the email is dated 10 Dec 1998, OMG!
Time sure flies when you're having fun :)

You should also visit the WaveGuide site and get the proper installer. The link is halfway down the page. The serial numbers are built in. Without a modified installer you'll be pulling hair out in no time!
