Locking of Thread rather than addressing the REAL issue
« on: December 17, 2019, 08:06:00 PM »
Note to the MODS on this forum...

Exactly why did you lock the thread for 3.2 development rather than addressing the real issue which was a new user that was SO OBVIOUSLY trolling?
Locking a perfectly acceptable thread that the entire forum was using/enjoying because ONE individual caused all kinds of crap is ludicrous and is shirking your responsibilities as moderators.

Reading the individual posts from this particular individual ANYONE can see where the problem actually lies so why the dodge of responsibility by locking a perfectly good conversation?

Oh dear oh dear, I meant to catch up on the 3.2 thread and now I find this posted from user CBH:

"I don't need to refute works of fiction. As far as outcomes go the only thing I wanted in this thread is to get ide splitter working and have fun at thomas expense and I won both. I'm only using the internet for what it's best at. Porn and hurting others. If you want to act with a conscience and treat each other kindly best to cancel your ISP contract because you misunderstand what it is you're paying for.
« Last Edit: December 16, 2019, 09:40:51 PM by CBH »"

I will be cancelling my ISP contract if amiga.org fills up with tripe like this.

I'm sure the thread was locked because the person starting the thread asked it to be locked.

Are you really that daft?

WHY exactly did the owner of the thread ask for it to get locked?
AS it was spelled out in the other thread I really didn't think I would need to spell it out HERE.

Thanks for the worthless addition to this sad story.

Well, there is another thread, and I can promise that thread starter will oppose any closing of it.

We all want Amiga.org to continue to be a fun, constructive and friendly forum.
