I actually emailed him and cursed him out, mostly because I just detest poor language usage (English in his case), but also because he's obviously a total tool who's probably inbred with Doomy at some point in the past and I wanted to have some laughs (not many chances to do that with Doomy lately). But more importantly, I hate black mailing and strong arming: no remorse!

It was a lot of fun. I even suggested that I'd rather have been turned into an Atari user than to have chanced upon an Amigan like him! :-)

The guy's a total tool and couldn't even understand what I was saying. It took a second email to explain that previous sentence and that I'm definitely not an Atari user. Sheesh!

I guess every country will have its dedicated Amiga tool. At least ours (Doomy) can sing! :-D

@whiteb,

Narre is a bogun suburb and the Western Suburbs aren't?!?!

Ha Ha! You're kidding. That's the home of the original boguns - long before Narre was anything other than an empty paddock!

:-)))

Cheers,

Mike.

Someone needs to till this guy that auctions work best when they start low and go up, rather then the other way around????

I have been watching to see what happens, but there is no way you could trust this guy!!

/gazes into the future for the guy's next ebay auction

FOR SALE

Three Commodore Amiga A1200's. Recently in full working order but now broken. Due to non-bidding people, I was forced to take a hammer and beat the Amiga's into small pieces of broken plastic, twisted metal and circuit boards.

Postage will be calculated by weight and the winning bidder to be notified or can be collected if you are local.

One careful owner, deranged with a severely large chip on his shoulder.

Bluff!

He isn't going to smash something he can get money for, even if it's less than he wants.

My guess is he's having a very public (and embarrassing) dummy spit to try and get more $$$ from a sympathetic buyer.

A1200s with accessories sell for ~$200 here in Aus, $500+ is laughable.

They're not even that rare.

Trouble is, people interested in buying old Amiga hardware are very well educated to the value of the items.

Meaning, his potential audience is limited to people buying old Amigas who know little about them.

Speaking of rare.

Exactly ... the trouble is, as explained in a previous post - the community knows what the item's are really worth so steer clear.

If he sells them for less than he wanted, what are the odds that he will deliberately smash them and send the bits to the buyer?.

What planet are you on Fishy   I have never been able to get an Amiga 1200 on ebay for that price $170.00 not even with 3.0roms let alone 3.1roms. if you did i bet it was all rusted up, Brown & never had a hard drive  The bin price is smart if you want a quick sale + it included Registered post at the time :-D The only thing that's laughable is the $170.00  They are worth heaps more selling one with just 3.1 installed no extra ram  with 3.0 roms will go for $250.00+ on ebay just watch the auctions. The bin makes sure you are not paying more than you have to it's those sellers that list for stuff all that rip you off has they alway's go for well over the expected price that they should do  :-?  I see you are the only one that has {bleep}ed about $500.00 was way too much with the Blizzard Expansion with 32meg well for your info a lesser card alone just sold on a ebay site for over $250.00+ Postage  :hammer: Now this fellow is selling it without card but has added a second hard drive with 3.1 installed so it can be used until you could afford extra ram :-P By reading between the lines you fools should of helped not upset the seller + some people are right he won't destroy them i emailed & he stated it was the wrong thing to put at the time has he did want a quick sale & only had it listed at the $700.00 bin which included reg post which you's all forgot to mention :rtfm: because he never had a clue on what the real price should be and was hopeing that some one would be nice enough to let him know instead he got nothing but abusive emails from all of you DORKS :pissed:  Yes i am dancing with the  :devildance:
