Title: Lee Majors Advocates!
Post by: SteWhite on June 05, 2004, 08:59:41 AM
Recently I remembered about an old slideshow/demo I saw, called (I'm pretty sure) Lee Majors Advocates.

It had, that I recall, "Lee Majors Advocates the desert burial of Richard Gere", and "Lee Majors Advocates the taking on of the spirit form and the haunting of William Shatner".

I'm pretty certain it was given away with an issue of CU Amiga magazine.

So, does anyone else remember this thing, or better yet, does anyone know where I can find a copy? :-D

Hi,

I remember watching "The Fall Guy" with my dad when I was young. That was fun. We watched it on ZDF, German tv, but I cannot remember wich name they used for the show.

Yesssssss! His name was Colt Seavers, right? I still got that intro in my head where he was hanging on a singpost while a train passes.

@Coder

Yes, that was his name. One thing that always fascinated me was when he used his cool jetpack! :-o :-)

Definitely the lowest point of his career.  Only thing decent about that show was Heather Thomas before she got hooked on blow.

Wow... So dragging up an old thread here but the co-producer (a master of 16 colour Windows 3.1 "Paint") who came up with the fantastic images pointed me to this thread a while ago...

So I probably still have the floppy in a disk box somewhere - if anyone really wants to see (and hear the wonderful/crazy soundtrack which I think Mr Horgan really liked!) then I can probably upload a disk image somewhere...

The Amiga was definitely fun back then!

One that strangely bubbled up from the depths of my memory was "Lee Majors advocates the wearing of gaudy jumpers whilst recanting scary stories to a hypnotised pimp"...

Resurrecting this old thread, even if it's 13 years later...

I'd be interested in seeing this slideshow, and any other slideshow in the same serie. It might be silly, but I still remember its review on CU Amiga, after all these years, and I have been always curious to see it. Here are the only screenshots available online, the reviews from issue 75 of CU Amiga (May 96) and issue 93 of Amiga Computing (December 95).
