maybe someone is using someone to be a "rabbit" in this auction. But at that price you can buy a ppc card for a1200. So dont't be foolish.

@dogudoruk,

BEWARE! The email you received could be a SCAM!

If this is a legitimate second chance offer from the REAL ebay seller who listed the card, then you will also find the same email under your "My eBay" messages.

Scammers often look back through the bidding history on items and then email their potential victims directly (not through eBay). One quick way to also check is to contact the seller of the eBay item by using the "Ask seller a question". Ask him if he has really given you a "second chance" buy option on the card. If he tells you that he doesn't know what you are talking about then that is confirmation that the email you received is a scam!

Good Luck! I hope this works out for you.

Regards,

Was it an email from FastRobPlus directly?  He used to be on this board but left sometime ago never to post again.  (Not sure of the story, but he seemed to be a nice guy...).

If it is, it could be the high bidder didn't want to pay, and he didn't want to go through the trouble of re-listing.  But, if it isn't the original seller then I'd stay far away, as it's probably a scam.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
