Is there a program that can save AmigaGuide files as plaintext?
« on: January 30, 2022, 03:47:01 PM »
Hi, my Amigas aren't connected to my printer and I would like
to save the Roadshow AmigaGuide file to a text file, leaving out the
hyperlink symbols, to print it out.

Is there a program that does that?

Sorry, I can't find the PDF file to which you refer. I downloaded the
Roadshow archive from Aminet again and there are only four files:
the program file and its .info file and a readme file and its .info file

It seems you're right. I re-downloaded a demo and it indeed
has .pdf documentation, which unfortunately has little about setting up
Roadshow in a wi-fi environment (in which I live)

I don't have a "wi-fi card". I live in a community with an "enterprise" wi-fi network
with access points in the ceilings (and tech support which, of course, knows nothing
about Amigas :-(

I should have mentioned that I have a PLIPBox.

I also have a DLink range extender, but I had no luck
connecting an Ethernet cable to it. I got the DLink from
local tech support when my wi-fi signal was sometimes too weak
