A4000 crashes after opening iBrowse 2.5.2 after updating MUI to 4.0

Hi guys, had iBrowse 2.5.2 running my A4000 using MUI 3.8..just updated  MUI to 4.0 as read somewhere iBrowse works better with it and now I get immediate system crash….tried reinstalling the 2.5.2 update but same thing…is it something in envarc..prefs?? I also noticed in YAM the fonts are all messed up but no system crash etc..

also at startup getting MUI warning popup 'Poseidon Popup provider' needing 3200 bytes stack but where to find it?

already tried updating MUI to 5.0 but same issue..got rid of Poseidon popup screen issue...deleted ENVARC mui entries and same issues? I'm now getting immediate system crashes even when I try to do anything in MUI5.0?

Snoopdos and see what is causing crash

ah time flies & getting back to this issue & indeed SnoopDos is our friend  ...so last thing it picks up before system crashes is Tooltypes HEIGHT & SPEED failed to load also StatusBar.info failed to read, Navigation.info failed to read & Picasso96/emulation.library failed to load...so lots of stuff to check out..

wow a year to the date of my initial post here and still same problem! I've been using Netsurf on my A4000 all this time with no issue.
so updated my A4000 to OS3.2 with real roms and just installed iBrowse 2.5.5 and also latest AmiSSL 4.11 but still getting immediate system crash also reinstalled MUI3.9

SnoopDOS picks up the following FAILED items before system crashes:

• -IBrowse/i
• -IBrowse/H
• -IBrowse/.
• -screennotify.library
• -env:mui/IBROWSE.prefs
• -tsocket.library
• -miami.library
• -GetVar MagicWB
• -ToolType HEIGHT
• -ToolType SPEED
• -Lock StatusBar.info
• -Open StatusBar.info

Is there a Guru error number or does it just lock up?

Some guesses:
1. Fall back to MUI 3.8, which is the most stable version for 68k.
2. SnoopDos output ends as IBrowse is attempting to open images. What version (format/depth) of the images and transfer animation did you install? I wonder if this is actually an image datatype crashing. Check your datatype versions/settings. Could the image datatype be running out of RAM?

no guru just IBrowse opens up at main screen for few seconds then bang system resets
1. how would I make sure all MUI files are fully deleted? Or would I just install 3.8 over existing 3.9
2. don't recall but will re-install WarpDT data types as I think OS3.2 overwrote them

so:1- installed newest WarpDT datatypes...tried and same thing. 2- installed MUI3.8..tried and same thing..doubt it's a ram issue since checked and picked some easy going settings..no 24 bit etc stuff and my CS-MKIII has got 132MB onboard..my 1200 has only 32MB and is running iBrowse just fine go figure
wow so back to using Netsurf I guess...

tried everything you noted and was hopeful that the latest NList files would do the trick but alas still same issue 


Other cards on my Zorro slots are my X-Surf-100 and MNT VA2000/CX RTG boards.

ya started fresh install of OS3.2 yesterday and new boot partition….MB and PSU caps have been already replaced and my CS-MKIII is on tight and right with no issues…PSU voltages measured and look good especially as I don’t have any heavy loads like real SCSI HD’s anymore   so this has to be something to do with software side?
