« on: September 02, 2008, 06:57:47 PM »
Hi folks,

I am trying to run YAM2.5 on a expanded 040 A4000
with 3.00roms : KS 39.106 :WB 39.29

After downloading YAM2.5 from sourceforge.net and installing
and running YAM I rxd 50 error messages in the YAM error window indicating errors occuring while trying to load image files from (example)WORK:YAM/Themes/Defaults/Status/Status_reply
If I try to display any of the images in the Status folder with Multiview I rxd error message from Multiview (example)
"unknown datatype for Status_reply"

I am have datatypes.library V39.11 in my SYS:Libs folder

anyone any ideas or suggestions??

many thanks, Ian

Hi Thomas,

many thanks for the tip about PNG datatypes. Downloaded and installed

http://aminet.net/package/util/dtype/akPNG-dt
and all images now load fine in YAM.

ehmm must read up on datatypes in general
