It was requested I upload some videos to Youtube of my C128 setup running various programs. I finally got around to setting up my TV card again and have uploaded a first video to YouTube. Nothing exciting, just a quick video showing Print Master being loaded and run from the Ramlink with SuperCPU enabled. Anyone who remembers how slow running a program like Print Master on a stock C64/1541 will appreciate how fast it is on my setup:-)
If you have a request for a video, let me know.
The first video is HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sb0uB-TJptM). BTW, don't complain that I am running a pirate copy. I own 2 complete original versions but they are in no way hard drive installable.

Watching that, I can still hear a floppy drive chattering in my head for some reason. :-)
If my 128 had run that fast in 1985, Commodore might still rule the world, nice video.

That is ridiculously fast. The video almost looks sped up!

:-D
No tricks, trust me it is as fast as my hands can move! Just think, using a RamLink instead of a 1541! RamLink stores in battery backed up simm memory. SuperCPU of course helps too, the preview speed is night and day.

Now for your viewing pleasure Karateka (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgnGcT_yvCg) on a SuperCPU & RamLink! What used to be a fun, easy game is now a funny 20 times faster, 100 times harder game.
I did this one just because it was funny!

Do you have any stock BASIC programs you can run with the SuperCPU enabled and disabled to show how fast they could run? Something that needs to crunch some numbers or sort records or even draw "hi res" graphics on the screen.
Cheers.

@redrumloa
Do you have anything designed specifically for the SuperCPU? Or something designed to take advantage of the SuperCPU if it's there (as opposed to software that just happens to work better)?

Try any game that took forever to load. Mission Impossible is one I can think of right now.

Hey guys, just a quick note. It may be a day or 2 until I will record any games. I have been putting the C= rca jacks directly into the input on my TV Wonder Pro, but there seems to be a serious lag to the PC monitor! I tried making a video for Metal Dust, but the lag made it totally inplayable :-x
Incredibly I don't seem to to have a single rca 'Y' adapter in the house and Radio Shack is closed for the night. Some time in the next day or 2 I will buy a Y splitter from Rat Shack. Until then maybe I will look for one of the super long load suggestion in here :-)
-
Ok, I have a Y-cable now. Per request Metal Dust in-game play (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ie79hicxteg) is uploaded to YouTube. :-)

Awesome. :-o :-)

mean guy kills a C=64 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwGGQKK7p94) :-(
