Dr. T's KCS MIDI software
« on: May 02, 2020, 10:11:16 PM »
Hi,

Back in the 1980s I purchased Dr. T's KCS MIDI sequencer for my Amiga 500. Seeing the complexity of the program, and as I was only a teen then, I never quite understood all the features and never used this powerful program to its full potential.

Recently I've been reading over the manual and learning what it could really do. Although it looks primitive by today's standards and has a clunky interface, it really is a versatile sequencer that can do live MIDI looping (triggered by keyboard keys) like the modern Seq24. It would be great for live performance, for example.

Seeing how useful this program actually is, I realized I would not want to lose my only copy of the manual, especially since it seems to have never been archived anywhere. I scanned it as a backup for myself.

There may be some legal KCS owners out there who also might have lost your original manual. In that case, PM me if you need the replacement.

It would be ideal if this document could be archived somewhere, but I am not sure of the legalities of that, so if you do that then it's up to you.

You could upload a copy to archive.org. There's plenty of other manuals on there.
