Well, seriously, most of it is already out there.
2x PCIe 16x (16 lanes connected, they'll scale down to 2x 8x if both are populated)
3x PCIe 1x (Xorro slot in line)
2x PCI legacy slots
4x SATA
8x USB
Onboard Audio
4x RAM socket

It can run 8 programs at 25% each, so that makes it how many cores?

As far as I can see, the only unknown factors not yet guessed are the CPU itself, Xena and Xorro...

For that... well... see you tomorrow ;)

its the WII processor ! Ha

That might actually be 'X', you know ;)

(and I bet you think I am kidding now, do you)

LOL, at this point nothing would surprise me.  :)

I have to say that withr regards to "legacy support", the one thing that I'd felt that has been missing on available Amiga-like solutions (WinUAE, Amiga One, etc) has always been the good old digital joystick ports and that's why solutions like the C-One and Minimig feel like "real" Amigas.  If there's are actual joystick ports on the production board, or headers for attaching some, or at least some sort of plug-in board then I'll definately be satisfied.

I'm really looking forward to the finished product and the spec list.
A2000, A3000, 2 x A1200T, A1200, A4000Tower & Mediator, CD32, VIC-20, C64, C128, C128D, PET 8032, Minimig & ARM, C-One, FPGA Arcade... and AmigaOne X1000.

Yeah, and it wouldn't come out to an even 25% each because all 3 of the PowerPC processors used in game systems support dual-threading on each core.

Well, 2, would seem the obvious answer to that, assuming by run you mean actually executing instructions and not waiting for IO etc.

So, a dual core, reasonably available (probably excludes my earlier guess at PWRficient) PPC-based CPU probably supporting an address space larger than 4GB and recent enough to have the requisite support (possibly on chip) for PCI express.

Surely that narrows it down a bit?

Catweasle PCI card will give you your digital joystick ports.
How are you helping the Amiga community? :)

Maybe later. Now stop distracting me with entertaining and borderline intellectual discussion. My finals start tomorrow and I'm not ready :nervous:

Good grief, has it been 3 years already since you started? (Thinking back, I'm sure you started Uni just as I was leaving... could even have been 3.5 years!)

Best of luck with your exams dude!
Mac Mini G4 (1.5GHz, 64MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.6
Powerbook 5.8 (15", 1.67GHz, 128MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.8.

Windows-free since 2011-2014 (Damn you Netflix!)

I'm betting that the whole use of Zorro like slot, reference to custom chips, joystick port tease and at teh aeon site.. when you type AA, AGA, AAA in the script popup over the slots suggests that there is somekind of legacy board that plugs in there. Jenns isn't the only person that has worked on an FPGA Amiga clone project. With te open source nature of Minimig it's not a stretch that somekind of legacy solution has been found.

I'd be hapy with a Rock solid WinUAE implementation.

You forgot to mention the S/PDIF connector.   It`s my favourite port!  Woohoo!!!!

While I also like S/PDIF ports I don't see them as very special, even the Efika has one.

But its a Amiga S/PDIF Optical port, therefore its special, now go back to class and remember an Amiga is for life not just for Christiansmas
